Mary Jane Galang Guest-Hayes
Born February 14, 1971, Valentine's Day, San Francisco, California. Lived all over the Bay Area growing up. I have three children, a girl and 2 boys.
Joined the Navy in 1996 in Vallejo, California. Went to boot camp in Great Lakes, Illinois. Went to Hospital Corps School and Preventive Medicine School in San Diego, California. Then Fleet Marine Force training in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Then my first duty station was in Parris Island, and I had my third and last child born in Beaufort, South Carolina, where I was a Preventive Medicine Technician for the Marine Recruits.
Then I went to Camp Pendleton, California, in 2000. The 13th MEU Marine Expeditionary Unit deployed after 9/11/2001 on the Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). The ship got decommissioned on 30NOV2020 due to a fire in port in San Diego, CA.
We went straight to Afghanistan and just bombed them with our air warfare. Then we cruise over to Kenya, Africa. I got off the ship and got to ride on an LCAC from the ship to the beach of Kenya.

Then after that, in 2003 I transferred to Port Hueneme California Navy Base, Ventura, California. By 2007 I got out and worked for Ventura County Environmental Health, doing mosquito abatement for Ventura County, California.
In 2010 I got a job doing Industrial Hygiene for the CB base in Port Hueneme, California. Naval Base Ventura County has three bases: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme, and San Nicholas Island.
Worked there until 2016 and transferred as an Industrial Hygiene Technician to Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada.
Retired after 28 years of Navy Medicine and now I want to sell Devil Docs Lumpia to the world.
